The Garden at Grandma's House
The garden at Grandma's House is one of tranquility and relaxation nestled in the grounds of historic Marlborough House surrounded by 150 year old majestic elm trees which provide shade in summer and glorious colour in autumn with the tall structure of these magnificent trees displaying their ghostly branches in winter. As you enter the property there is a sense of charm that only an old established garden can provide.
The garden is a delight with mature trees, a lined driveway of white roses, topiaries and neatly clipped English box hedges. Autumn colour is special in this relaxing garden.
In the spring and summer flowers are abundant with climbing roses and old fashioned garden favourites. Espaliered fruit trees are a feature of Grandma's Garden.
To add to the pleasure of a stay at Grandma's House, a large private covered verandah and barbeque area overlook the back garden. Guests can enjoy a stroll in this magnificent private garden at their leisure.
And what would any garden be without the locals, meet Lily one the three friendly resident moggies of Marlborough House, next door to Grandmas.
